LokPal
The politicians have made a mess in India. BJP stooping down to minus levels. Its really disheartening to see the current political turmoil in India. What surprises me is Anna Hazare has chosen not to speak against BJP, while I am sure his ideologies do not sync with RSS, still he has chosen not to speak against them. BJP has made every effort to stop the passing of the Lokpal Bill, so that Anna Hazare would continue his 'Anshan' and congress would be set to lose.
The amount of strength these politicians are putting in to root each other out in the next election, wish they had put the same effort to strengthen India and allowed the Lokpal/FDI bill to be passed in Lok Sabha.
Alas - BJP and Congress - both proved to be working against INDIA. Given a chance I would still vote for Congress, as it punishes the culprit politicians and to prove that point we have A Raja / Kalmadi behind bars.
BJP on the other hand bowed down to Yeddyurappa, and Yeddyurappa resigned on his own terms. BJP has lost its central leadership with only one strong face - Narendra Modi, who himself has an image of mass murderer. I'm sure India wouldn't want to see a murderer as a Prime Minister, on the other hand Advani would make a weak Prime Minister. Congress on the other hand has few remarkable replacements in Pranab Mukherjee and ofcourse Rahul Gandhi.
Coming back to Lokpal - Lokpal isn't a magic wand and cannot stop corruption on its own. Its a mere tool which would strengthen the law makers to punish those who are CAUGHT red handed. The same rules apply for Murderers, we have laws for murderers yet murders do happen. Lokpal is one step forward towards the GIANT mountain of corruption.
A message for Anna Hazare - You can't be a Gandhi for Gandhi ji was real bold and secular to the core. He never intended to slap even a Britisher, let alone Indian. Please do not be biased in your decisions. You were on a noble cause and I see the clear diversion which should be mended. BJP has clearly ditched you in Lok Sabha and you refused to admit. By doing that you lost one of your supporters, that's ME.
